Carbohydrates for Better Health

Carbohydrates are essential to the average diet of the people.What are starch and sugar that our body uses energy. Rice, bread, noodles and vegetables rich in starch such as potatoes are rich in carbohydrates. Not all carbs are healthy for you, as you can on some weight and add empty calories. Here are some tips that can help you with the selection of healthy carbohydrates:
Choose whole grain products:Instead of bread, rolls, pastries and cereals made with white flour, try to go for whole grain varieties. They are also high in fiber and not to an excessive weight gain. They are also good for digestion.
Replace white pasta with whole wheat pasta:Replace regular pasta made with those that you eat whole grains.It is certainly low in calories and also taste better. You can even opt for spinach noodles or egg noodles instead of regular noodles.
Try to avoid starchy foods:Try charged for healthy carbohydrates such as sugar beets, cauliflower and celery root instead of starch potatoes. If you prefer, you can always add to the pureed vegetables, potato intake in your diet to limit rather than eliminate them altogether.Add fresh vegetables such as carrots, onions, cucumbers and lettuce on your diet and try to eat them raw whenever possible.
Add fruit to your diet:The fruits are very healthy and rich in vitamins and minerals. The fruits are also very high in fiber and you can create a world of good if you eat regularly. Try to avoid starchy fruits such as bananas and keep them healthy and low calorie options such as apples, strawberries and other fruits of the season.
